Leading Through the AI Era
This week we had our first Ready to Rise live session, where we unpacked the real-world challenges and opportunities of integrating AI into modern businesses.
Drawing from frontline experience and insights from Dreamforce it’s very clear:
AI isn’t about replacing people - it’s about removing the friction that holds them back.
We explored:
- Why AI’s biggest current value lies in eliminating the mundane, not solving the impossible
- How structured data, not hype, unlocks true AI capability
- What leaders need to do now to create policy, security, and culture that supports responsible AI use
- And how to position AI not as a tech project, but as a strategic shift across the entire business
This is not about surviving AI disruption. It’s about leading through it with clarity, courage, and a commitment to doing the hard work.

Healthspan > Lifespan
One of the themes I’ve been reflecting on lately is the difference between living longer and living better. I’ve always been more interested in how we can extend our healthspan - our years of vitality, performance, and wellbeing - rather than just our lifespan.
Over the past few weeks, I’ve had some energising conversations about where healthspan research is headed, and how proactive strategies (powered in part by AI) are reshaping how we care for our minds and bodies.
AI’s potential here is extraordinary, especially in analysing the vast amount of data we generate daily. Not just from medical records, but from ourselves. That self-generated data is a goldmine, and it’s changing how we understand personal health.
Personally, I’ve road-tested nearly every wearable that’s come to market over the last decade. Right now, my go-to tools are:
- Oura Ring and Apple Watch – for physical health and recovery insights
- BrainHQ App – a new addition after recent convos, focused on boosting neuroplasticity
(None of these are sponsored - just genuinely helpful tools in my own journey.)
I’d love to hear from you:
What’s in your toolkit for staying sharp, well, and ready to rise?
